How We Work

I can't say that good food photography is cheap. I can say that bad food photography is expensive. Why? The image has to call on your visual sense only, leaving out the sensations of taste, smell and touch. To that end, that shot has to look tasty enough to make you want to eat it. When you look at a good food shot, more than being beautiful, it should make you hungry.

A food shoot itself once planned out, can take a few days to prepare the presentation for your final choices. A web gallery that you can link to and review will be created. After that a couple of days are needed to enhance the images correcting colors, defects, cropping etc.
Final images will be in a folder either transmitted to you via ftp. on your end, or placed on this site with a given password for you to download.

In general final images can be had within 3 days.

Do You Need a Food Stylist

This is where it gets tricky. What looks good to the eye doesn't always look good on camera. Case in point...ever meet a model off set? There are times and situations where a stylist is not needed, due to the great talent of a chef, or the simplicity of the food. There are great chefs who are sometimes equally as good at styling as their creations , and along with a few final touches from the photographer, some good results can be achieved.

But for those times when the need arises, As a food photographer, I work with excellent stylists and are happy to make recommendations.
